Online Mental Health Tools Can Help Reduce Farmer Suicide Risk

Rural America is facing a mental health crisis. Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers are 3.5 times more likely to die by suicide than the general population, according to the National Rural Health Association. When looking only at the men in this category, the statistics are even more startling: their suicide rate is 43.2 per 100,000, compared with 27.4 across other occupations.
