Crop progress report 11/15: Washington cooled down, had more rain

From NASS There were 4.7 days suitable for fieldwork in Washington last week, down from 5.4 days the previous week. San Juan County cooled down and had more rain. There were still some great crops coming off CSA farms. Livestock were on stockpiled feed on most farms. Others were letting livestock over-graze pastures, giving little or no rest for fall root regrowth. Snohomish County reported field cleanup, a bit of tillage and planting the last of the cover crops. Okanogan, Ferry, Pend Oreille and Spokane counties had snow and sleet along with other typical winter weather conditions. Everything was on pace in Grant County. They reported freezing temperatures and rain showers at night. Lincoln County reached below freezing temperatures with snow and wind. Adams County producers were no longer in the fields. In Asotin and Garfield counties, rain and snow were beneficial to planted crops. There were some reports of winter wheat not emerging.
