2025 ARC/PLC Payment Update: What Corn, Soybean & Wheat Farmers Can Expect in October 2026

The farmdoc team at the University of Illinois has released updated final estimates for 2025 Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) payments for corn, soybean, and wheat base acres. These payments are scheduled to be received by farmers in October 2026. Using recently released NASS county yield estimates and Marketing Year Average (MYA) price projections from the May 2026 WASDE report, projected ARC/PLC payments average:

$58 per base acre for corn

$29 per base acre for soybeans

$47 per base acre for wheat
