Opinion: Farmers are fed up with fertilizer companies taking advantage of our farms

Last week in Ogden, Iowa, farmers of commodities ranging from corn to soybeans to wheat and specialty crops gathered from every corner of the country to attend the ‘Fed Up: Fertilizer Cartel Profits on Farmers’ Backs’ fertilizer hearing. That title might sound extreme, but so is watching family farms across the nation shutter their doors at continually increasing rates.
